I am very excited about our theme, RECONNECT, and all the possibilities it holds to energize and expand our learning efforts in 2023-24.
I am also very excited to be taking on a classroom this coming school year – my role as principal will be supported through a shared leadership model with Marci, Lindsay, Jacque, and some part time staff who bring administrative expertise and experience in order to share the load. I am still at the helm, but grateful for the opportunity to the Board and staff to have my own classroom.
We will be sharing more via this newsletter, website updates, the 2023-24 School Handbook, and the various parent orientations and events. I can attest that the Spectrum Board is very invested in connecting with families and staff and grateful for the passion and excitement in doing so of our newly elected Board president, Dr. Alan Robinson.
