Amazed by Sully's glaciation and map of the Great Lakes!
We played a game this week that reinforces reading the notes on the spaces of a music staff!
Severson Dells!
During our trip to Severson Dells, we learned all about macro invertebrates and water pollution. We also took a rainy walk to to the dock!
Dioramas!
Intermediate has been hard at work making their final river projects: dioramas! Each student has researched an Illinois river, created a written project with facts, created a river adjective poem, and now finishes with dioramas, which were planned using river vocab. This Friday afternoon from 2:15-2:45pm we will have an impromptu “River Exhibition” for classmates to come see their work. Projects will be on display in our classrooms for Math Night as well!
River Exhibition was a success: research, posters, maps, designs, dioramas, and guests!
Have a relaxing weekend!
