Dia de Muertos!
In preparation for Día de Muertos, I built an ofrenda in the classroom and students helped me add more paper marigolds. We talked about the parts of the ofrenda, the meaning behind each item, and the tradition of the day. It was a fun lesson!

Yellow Snow?!
In the Fall, our trees “snow” their tiny yellow leaves. On Thursday morning, it was a beautiful sight: the early morning sun, the golden leaf “snow, the chilly air, and of course this group of kiddos.

Winter Holiday Program!
Halloween is over. It’s time to start practicing for our Holiday Program. On Thursday, we talked about the program and listened to the music. Most of the students were excited. Students also learned who their characters will be. Look for clues in the picture!
