Rockford University Reunion!
First day with RU this year! They seemed to have fun practicing throwing. We got there a little early, so they decided to take a quick “nap” before starting the activity.
Regrouping!
We worked with regrouping to solve 2 and 3 digit addition problems using base 10 blocks.
RU Day 2!
We had a full fun morning at RU on Friday. We had a P.E. class where we learned how to hold a racket. Afterwards, we went on a tour of the campus and had a snack. Then, we had another fun P.E. class were we practiced under hand throwing while playing giant tic-tac-toe. It was a great morning!
Adopted Trees!
This week, we created a diagram of our adopted trees, where we colored and labeled the tree parts. We also named our adopted trees!
While waiting to go to RU this morning, I took this gem of a student reading a book to a few of his peers!
To end our fun busy day, Ailena brought her ferrets in for us to see!
Mr. Rickey came in this week to snap some shots of our kids hard at work!
