This week, the Explorers were learning about rain and about "April showers bring May flowers!"
Loving the warm weather!
Happy Birthday to our Principal, Mary Beth!
If the word makes a “P” sound, jump in the puddle! If it doesn’t, then stand still!
Kindness Rocks!
On Thursday, the Explorers painted kindness rocks! I found out about this from finding a kindness rock myself. Groups of people hide these rocks all over town for others to find and hopefully put a smile on their face! We encouraged the kids to hide their rock around their house or backyard if they want!
Easter!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Easter in our class room! We decorated bunnies using marbles, painting cute chicks who have wings (which look similar to our hands), and painted an Easter basket made from repurposed egg cartons! We even had a very special Easter bunny named Algiers!
