Spectrum Family and Friends,
It’s finally here! Spectrum’s Fall Festival is TODAY, Saturday, September 28, at Spectrum from 10:00AM – 3:30PM. It is looking fantastic if the piles of prizes and gift baskets in our office are anything to go by. Thank you to Marci Hallgren, Sonia Chaudhry, and their entire team of parent volunteers for their tireless planning and organizing of this event. Please come, have fun, and spend money!
Please plan on coming to Curriculum Night on October 3 from 6:00PM – 7:00PM. Information as well as the schedule came home in Wednesday folders, so you can plan accordingly. We will keep it short this year, but it will be an hour for parents, packed with information.
Innovation Update: Congratulations to Ben E., Avenlea, DaLyla, Parker, Jude, Yannik, and Nolan who helped me figure out some 3D print pens this week. Also to Middle Schoolers Diane and Vayda who piloted a virtual reality T-shirt of the digestive system. Thank you to Heather K. for helping me figure out the 3D printer. We will continue to experiment and explore. Next in line = a suite of VR goggles.
Finally, thank you all for supporting our emergency contact systems. Hopefully we never need to use them…well, maybe I would like one snow day this year. Please reach out to me with questions or, if you have them, corrections.
