We are finishing our second week of school, establishing routines, procedures, expectations, and considering goals for Intake Conferences next week. Please be sure to sign up on ClassTag (everyone should have received an invitation by email) and then sign up for Intake Conferences on September 15.
We had a remarkable moment today when Ms. Jacque and the students in Early Elementary shared the release of their classroom-grown butterflies with the whole school. It was wonderful.
There are so many beautiful moments and kindnesses throughout the days and weeks. Special KUDOS to Ms. Sue, Marci, and Heather for turning our chaotic staff room, which had been a storage catch-all from getting classrooms ready, to a peaceful space for staff and teachers to relax and enjoy. Thank you to our PTO chair Diane Russell and Marci for their advance thinking in preparing how to reinvigorate our PTO with wonderful events. Thank you to Gloria and Marci for pulling together all the school paperwork which is needed to run the school. Thank you to Claire and Marci for all their attention to upgrading and improving our outdoor spaces and resources. Thank you to Megan, Mackenzie, and Marci for what continues to be a wonderful and safe after school program.
Notice the common denominator, Marci. I do not know what we would do without her. Please say thank you when you see her for the herculean efforts she has put in these last several months.
