Thinking, Creating, Reflecting: Impacting the Future

Sprouts’ Accounts! Apr. 13 – Apr. 17

Messy Monday Easter Egg Geodes!

I will be making the first step ahead of time because they will need to dry.

Step 1: paint the inside and edges of half the egg in white school glue then coat the eggs with epsom salt (this is the starter crystal), and let dry.

Here’s what you will need:
Eggs (I’m using plastic Easter eggs)
Egg dye or food coloring (optional)
Craft glue
Epsom salt
Food coloring
Toothpicks

Wacky Wednesday!

I am going to have two different “digs” prepared.

The first one requires jello. I used sugar-free jello in hopes that it won’t be sticky (my kids won’t likely eat it anyway). I prepared two boxes in a 9×13 pan (you can use anything you want) and put a bunch of my kid’s legos in it while it is still liquid and put it in the fridge to set for tomorrow. I also put water (I boiled it so that it will be clear but not necessary) in a Tupperware with more legos and placed that in the freezer.

I think it would be super fun to put something they love to play with, a game of jacks, a new lego set (not put together) in the jello or ice for them to dig out and play with when they are done. You could also put alphabet letters, army men, dinosaurs, ANYTHING plastic. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Farm Animals and Disney World (w/ Belle at the 3:55 mark!) with Ms. Aly!
