Rickey Barnett

Bio

Hello! I'm Rickey. My two daughters, Bailey and Tinsley, have went to Spectrum for the last three years and have loved a ton about their experience here over that time. I currently am in charge of keeping the school website up-to-date, creating the weekly newsletter, capturing pictures, and creating fun videos of Spectrum School events. I love making our school and our students look good for parents and the world to see!

Previously, I have about a decade of experience working with individuals with disabilities, both at the high school level of Chicago Public Schools and for the Chicago Park District. Coaching Special Olympics is something I'll always treasure!

For fun, I like to cheer on the Dodgers after my recent divorce with the White Sox, make the occasional trip or 3 to Las Vegas, photography, and doing whatever will make the women in my life happy!
