Sleigh Ride!
We are studying composer Leroy Anderson, one of America’s greatest composers of light orchestra music. On Thursday, we listened to one of his compositions you probably know, Sleigh Ride. This piece was composed during a heat wave in the summer. We discussed dynamics, tempo, tone color and mood. We are working on a cup routine to Sleigh Ride for our Who-Ville Holiday program on Friday, December 16th!
