Hi! My name is Brianna Lungstrom. I am the EfEA’s Stuffy Campaign Manager. Some people might know me from last year and you will know what we did to make this happen. Here is an amazing article written by our sponsor MEG about the work we did last year.
You may wonder, “How did we make EfEA happen?” We started by each person in our class picking one endangered animal. Then, we researched a whole lot of facts about our animals. We picked our three favorite fun facts about our animals. We drew our animals and a professional graphic artist turned our drawings into beautiful images. We also each picked one organization that helped our animals. Then, I helped our teacher make the facts and images into a poster. We laminated all of them and hung them on our office wall. We sent letters to politicians all over the world and created a website and social media to go world wide. Our goal was to get people to donate to the organizations that help our animals.
If you weren’t here last year, that is ok! EfEA is back up again this year. We started a little after-school club, and so far we just have three people. More people are welcome to join! We meet on Wednesdays from 3:00-4:00pm in Room 9. The cost to cover snacks and materials is $10 per month. We will pick new animals and organizations and begin campaigning for support. We still have stuffies to give away to local donors!
Thank you for tuning in to the Brianna Grace Lungstrom show!
The End.
