The Moon
This week we started our discussion on the moon. We started out with one question: “What do you know about the moon?” Students answered this question after we read the book, The Darkest Dark. Then, after having the night to think about it, I asked the same question again and was pleased to see that many of them had been thinking about the moon and shared more things they knew about it. Next week we will continue our discussion about the moon.
Snow shenanigans!
Some of the Wildthings were enjoying their time out in the snow Friday, which included making a little fort!
Olive Garden!
A few students tried pasta and salad from Olive Garden at lunch Tuesday. The lunch was provided by Pennies for Patients that we took part in back in the fall.
